2004, The Surveying Zone, Inc. is a different kind of website
for land surveyors and mappers. What is in the best interest of
the land surveyors and mappers? A member based website
that seeks out what is in
the best interest of surveyors and mappers while keeping and
forming better relationships with clients, vendors,
educators, and the public.
Many
surveyors feel orphaned by the business community. Surveying Zone is here to meet
those needs and to help create empowering experiences
for mapping professionals. Different than a trade journal or
professional organization, Surveying Zone is a resource in which
geomatics professionals can go to and make informed business
decisions. By
allowing Surveying Zone to evolve from the active participation of
our broad based members, a new community is created that will lead
the surveyors and mappers into the future and do it on their
terms. We’ll get

We do not have to work within the confines of a large corporation nor budget of only subscribing advertisers. We see Surveying Zone as an investment into the future of ALL surveyors and mappers and a way to give back, to make better.

CATHY COSTARIDES, LS,
CEO
An experienced entrepreneur,
Cathy Costarides founded Surveying Zone while serving as the CEO of
CC Land Surveyors, a land surveying firm that serves the metro
Atlanta area. Cathy, a
second generation surveyor has overseen day to day operations of
her surveying firm since 1989. Cathy is involved in the Surveying
and Mapping Society of Georgia and is a member of
ACSM.
Cathy holds a
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Kennesaw
State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Technology from Southern Polytechnic University.
